What’s going on?

I created the Kaiju Supper Club because I think Japanese influenced pop up nights are an absolute winner of an idea. I don’t need to worry about maintaining a restaurant, so I don’t need to pander to the ‘average’ customer. So I can make it spectacularly unique, fun and like a cult.

I believe that in this day in age we deserve an experience that feels like it’s something magical and special; the supper club is my way of delivering this, something you’ll anticipate and get behind, something you’ll talk to your friends about, and something you won’t want to miss.

What makes it unique is the eureka moment I had while out on the beautiful waters by my house. I realised that Japanese food uses much of the same ingredients and influences that we have here on the Dorset coast. Fresh fish, seaweed, amazing local products. We even have a specialist wasabi growing farm!

So I’m doing it. Starting spring ‘26 I’m going to run exclusive supper clubs. I’ll keep this site up to date on my progress and please sign up to the newsletter to be the first to hear about dates so you don’t miss your spot. I thought it would be interesting to also try and journal all the discoveries I make on the way, not just food but food business stuff too.

I really hope you’re as excited about this stuff as I am. If you are then reach out! Let’s go on this journey together :)
